About this place
Historic Craftsman Living, with Room to Spread Out
Set on a quiet street in Walla Walla’s Historic District, Craftsman on Whitman combines the character of a classic bungalow with an unusually flexible layout for families and groups traveling together. Pioneer Park, Whitman College, and downtown Walla Walla are all within walking distance.
The main level is the heart of the home, with beautiful original Craftsman details, a newly remodeled kitchen and full bathroom, comfortable living spaces, and plenty of room to gather before or after a day exploring the Valley.
What makes Craftsman on Whitman especially unique is its separate upper-level living space. Accessed by an exterior staircase, the upstairs has its own living room, small kitchen, dining area, bedrooms, and bathroom—creating a comfortable sense of separation while keeping everyone together on the same property.
It’s a particularly nice setup for extended families, families traveling with older children, groups of couples, or colleagues visiting Walla Walla together. Everyone has room to gather when they want to, with the flexibility to retreat to their own space at the end of the day.
Outside, a fenced backyard and relaxed seating area offer another spot for morning coffee or opening a bottle from the day’s tastings.
With room for up to 12 guests, two distinct living areas, and a walkable Historic District location, Craftsman on Whitman offers larger groups something a little different: the chance to experience Walla Walla together, with space to spread out.

Great home that was perfect for our multi generational family gathering. The ADU was great to create some privacy for the different parties. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Highly recommend

There were 5 of us ladies staying at this lovely home and we each had our own bedroom, which was great. This house is so charming, is VERY well appointed with everything one might need (especially in the kitchen!), has plenty of parking. We loved the location and loved the house. Highly recommend this lovely home.

This was our second stay at this property, and it was just as great as the first! The house is perfect for a group—plenty of space, comfortable, and very well maintained. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you might need, which made cooking together easy and fun. The neighborhood is fantastic too—safe, walkable, and close to lots of great spots. We’d definitely stay here again!
