Built From the Ground Up

Opened in April 2019, The Barn is just 10 minutes from Main Street and 5 minutes from Woodward Canyon, Reininger, Long Shadows, Waterbrook, L'Ecole No. 41 and Cougar Crest wineries and the Wine Valley Golf Club (Top 100 courses in the US).

Surrounded by farmland and bordered on one side by the Little Walla Walla River, with rolling hills and views of the Blue Mountains, the inn offers the luxuries of a boutique inn in a peaceful, pastoral setting.

In-Room Amenities

A private garden and outdoor hot-water shower (May–October), wine-barrel fridge, custom adjustable bed, original art, and a view of the Blue Mountains create a tranquil, pampered experience.

Every suite has its own coffee and tea setup, so you can take a hot drink out to your patio at first light. The vaulted Julian's Hall is open to guests around the clock, with a fireplace, a library and board games. Also access to a microwave, toaster oven and disposable plates and flatware.

Our Suites

Six Garden Suites plus the very special ‘Granary’, each with a private entrance, sit next to the main building that houses the communal spaces.

Each suite is a thoughtfully appointed oasis of serenity, showcasing furnishings and European glass sinks that match original artwork Naina created while living in Thailand. The vivid color themes — unique to every suite — are inspired by Jim Thompson's legendary Thai silks, and appear again in the pillow accents.

Only steps from your own patio is a heated outdoor pool and shared hot tub with gorgeous views, and Pushpa's Pond — great for evening strolls, with seating to enjoy the birdlife, deer, and stunning valley sunsets.

We Understand Hospitality

After attending one of the best hospitality schools in the world in Lausanne, Switzerland, Anand worked his way up through Food & Beverage into operations and corporate executive roles with Hilton International, Disney, The Ritz-Carlton, Six Senses Resorts & Spas and the Onyx Hospitality Group across eight countries.

His wife Naina — an accomplished event planner, designer, chef and community volunteer — and Anand chose charming Walla Walla to build their own luxury country inn. Together they are passionate about food and wine, and bring a unique multicultural approach to hospitality.
